What are the official dates of the 2024 NCRA Conference & Expo?
The NCRA Conference & Expo begins Thursday, August 1, 2024, and ends Saturday, August 3, 2024. There will not be any Sunday educational sessions.

The safety and well-being of NCRA attendees and staff is always our top priority. You can review hotel safety protocols and the Galt House Hotel policies at HOTEL FAQ - Galt House. NCRA will follow in accordance with state and local rules and regulations as well as any guidelines put in place by the state of Kentucky and the CDC.

Is there free WiFi in the hotel?
Free Wi-Fi is available in the lobby area, meeting rooms, and guest rooms.
What is the early registration package?
There is a $25 discount for the Full Registration package only until May 15, 2024.
What are the benefits of booking at the NCRA Conference & Expo host hotel?
Registered attendees staying at the The Galt House Hotel get access to great amenities, a discounted NCRA group hotel rate, free continental breakfast on Friday and Saturday, proximity to all Conference events, and the knowledge that they are helping NCRA keep rates for events reasonable for everyone.
Does the The Galt House Hotel require a deposit for the reservation?
No deposit is required but we have the following cancellation policy in place: Fee of one night room rate plus tax: For reservations canceled within 7 days of your arrival date.
Can I purchase a ticket to see the Premier Session?
The Premier Session with Keynote is included in all registration packages except for the Saturday/Sunday package. It can be added to this package for an additional $50. You cannot purchase an à la carte ticket.
What if I have already registered and want to add or delete a session?
Call 800-272-6272 or email meetings@ncra.org and we can help you with adding or deleting a session. After one change an administrative fee of $30 will be added. NOTE: No registration changes can be made after July 1, 2024. Changes can be made on site for an additional fee.
Do you have a payment plan for attending the 2024 NCRA Conference & Expo?
Unfortunately, we do not have a payment plan for attending the Conference.
What are the additional taxes for one night in a standard room?
The taxes and fees are approximately an additional 16.07 percent per room.
Can I get a discount on registration for the Conference if I am a student?
NCRA offers a considerable discount for Student Registrations. NCRA Conference & Expo Full Registration is $715; Student Registration is $305. In addition, there are several opportunities available for student members to receive free conference registrations. Learn more here.
If I only want to attend the concurrent sessions without the social events, do I need to register for the Full Registration?
Yes, you would have to register for a Full Registration, or you can opt for a Friday Only or Saturday Only Registration.
May I transfer my 2024 NCRA Conference & Expo registration to a colleague?
Yes. Transfers of staff registrations within the same client and partner organizations are welcome. If you need to substitute one registrant for another, please email meetings@ncra.org with any transfer requests in advance of the Conference.
What forms of payment do you accept?
NCRA accepts AMEX, MasterCard, Visa, and Discover cards. To pay by credit card, select the "Check Out" button. You also have the option to pay via check.
If I am unable to attend the 2024 NCRA Conference & Expo, can I receive a refund for my registration fee?
Yes. NCRA has a cancellation policy located on the registration form and website. We are unable to provide refunds for no-shows. However, you can transfer your registration to another member of your organization if you are unable to attend the Conference.
What if I need special accommodation or have dietary restriction
Please contact NCRA at meetings@ncra.org no later than June 1, 2024, if you require any special accommodation or dietary restrictions. The information provided will remain confidential. Any requests received after June 1 may not be fulfilled.
What is the dress code for the event?
Business casual attire is appropriate for all Conference activities. Certain networking events, like the Member Recognition Gala, may have an event theme and a costume or themed attire is acceptable.
Is there a mobile app for this event?
Yes. The NCRA Event Mobile App is the perfect companion to stay connected with NCRA events. Additional information about accessing the event on the mobile app will be provided closer to the event date.
Workshops and auxiliary events
Is there an additional fee for Vendor Trainings, Workshops, and the Firm Owners Focus?
Yes, there is an additional fee to attend the Vendor Trainings, Workshops, and Firm Owners Focus.
Can an NCRA retired member participate in the National Speed Contest?
Yes, NCRA retired members who want to sign up and participate in the National Speed Contest may do so.
Who can participate in Realtime and Speed Contests and can we get CEUs?
NCRA members in good standing who hold at least the RMR are eligible to participate in the Speed Contest. NCRA members in good standing who hold at least either the RMR or the CRR are eligible to participate in the Realtime Contest. Participants will be awarded 0.25 PDC for each leg in which they qualify. The deadline to register for the contests is July 5, 2024 or when registration reaches 50 participants.
CEUs
How many CEUs can I earn for attending the 2024 NCRA Conference & Expo?
Attendees can earn up to 1.325 CEUs for the Conference. An additional registration cost for preconference sessions can earn you additional CEUs from 0.15 to 0.3 CEU. Each requires a separate registration.
When will my credits show on my transcript?
CEUs will post to your transcript approximately two to three weeks after Conference.
If I attend the Realtime or the Captioning Boot Camp, will I earn CEUs?
Yes. You will receive 0.3 CEU for attending the Captioning Boot Camp or the Realtime Boot Camp.
