NCRA Certification Policies

NCRA provides various certification programs to ensure the competency of court reporters, captioners, and videographers, and a continuing education program to equip credential holders with the knowledge and skills necessary to compete in a world of ever-changing information and technology. As such, NCRA has provided the following rules and policies that govern these programs.

Exam Retention Policy

Under this policy, any person with an existing history of passed educational components or passed tests will have three years to complete the remaining components and earn their certifications.
