What are the official dates for the 2026 NCRA Conference & Expo?
The NCRA Conference & Expo begins Thursday, July 16, 2026, and ends Saturday, July 18, 2026.

What should I bring, and what is the dress code?

Business casual attire is appropriate for all conference activities. Some networking events, such as the Member Celebration, may have a theme, and themed or costume attire is welcome.,/p>

Consider bringing business cards, a portable charger and a notebook. If you are registered for the Captioning Boot Camp, you are encouraged to bring your machine.

How do I request special accommodations or note dietary restrictions?

If you require special accommodations or have dietary restrictions, please email meetings@ncra.org no later than June 1, 2026. All information provided will remain confidential. Requests received after June 1 may not be accommodated.

Registration

When does registration open?
Registration opens April 1. Presale discounted rates for select packages are available April 1–8.  Regular rates begin April 9. Onsite rates apply beginning July 2. View current pricing on the Registration page.
If I only want to attend concurrent sessions and not the social events, do I need to register for full registration?

Yes. Full registration is required to attend all concurrent sessions. Thursday-only, Friday-only, and Saturday-only registration options are also available.

Are discounted registration rates available for students?

NCRA offers a discounted student registration rate. Full registration is $760; student registration is $320. Students may also be eligible for free registration through NCRF scholarship and travel award opportunities. Are scholarships or travel awards available?

Yes. Scholarship and travel award opportunities are available for students and first-time attendees. Visit the Conference & Expo pagefor current details and deadlines, and watch JCR Weekly for updates.

What payment methods are accepted, and is a payment plan available?

NCRA accepts American Express, MasterCard, Visa and Discover. You may also pay by check. Payment must be received before registration is confirmed; purchase orders are not accepted.

Payment plans are not available. Full payment is required at the time of registration.

What if I need to cancel or transfer my registration?

NCRA does not issue refunds for no-shows. If you can’t attend, you may transfer your registration to another person in your organization. Substitutions within the same organization are permitted. To request a transfer, email meetings@ncra.org before the conference.

Cancellation requests received after June 17 are nonrefundable. The full cancellation policy posted on the Registration page.

CEUS

How many CEUs can I get for attending the NCRA Conference & Expo?

CEU information for the 2026 NCRA Conference & Expo will be announced closer to the event. Check back for updates on continuing education credits available for conference sessions and pre-conference workshops.

Workshops and auxiliary events

Who is eligible to participate in the Realtime and Speed contests, and are CEUs awarded?

NCRA members in good standing who hold at least the RMR are eligible to participate in the National Speed Contest. Members in good standing who hold either the RMR or CRR are eligible to participate in the Realtime Contest. Retired NCRA members may also participate in the National Speed Contest.

Participants earn 0.25 PDC for each leg in which they qualify.

The registration deadline for the contests is July 1, 2026, or when registration reaches 50 participants, whichever occurs first.
