Career Launcher Student Grants

NCRF will be offering five to seven grants each quarter that will cover the cost for students to participate in the NCRF Career Launcher program.

 

 

Eligibility criteria

To be eligible to apply for the NCRF Career Launcher Student Grants, students must meet the following criteria: Affirm they are currently a court reporting student enrolled in a court reporting school and/or can provide verification that they have passed one skills test at 180 wpm or higher.

 

 

Application information

  • Applications that are received and include all required information will be entered into a drawing that will be held live on Facebook.
  • Applications not drawn as winners will be included in all future drawings in which five to seven more entries will be chosen.
  • Grant winners will be featured in an article in an issue of the JCR Weekly and the Up-to-Speed quarterly student newsletter.

  • December 14, 2023

Drawings will be held the week following each deadline date above.

* Stenographic student candidates not in a formal court reporting program can provide verification of speed the following ways:

  • One passed RSRJ skills test
  • One passed RPRL skills test
  • One passed test on EV360 or Realtime Coach

School reference information may be used to verify that the student candidate has passed one skills test at 180 words per minute or higher.
