To serve as the official court reporter for a District Court Judge in Cedar Rapids, IA. Primary domicile is Cedar Rapids, IA, Linn Co. Travel to other counties within the Sixth Judicial District is required. Responsibilities Takes court testimony and proceedings by shorthand reporting methods. Reads back court testimony and proceedings upon request. Makes verbatim typed record of testimony and proceedings as required. Marks and records exhibits during court proceedings. Prepares transcripts, performs general office work and provides substantial clerical support for the court.
