Hear from past participants

"It was an honor to represent the court reporters of Indiana in Washington, D.C. I am very passionate about what I do. Court reporters play an important role within the judicial system. The record we create is relied upon by the bench, the bar, the litigants, and the public. Boot Camp gave me the tools to advocate for and educate others about the importance of the human element within the judicial system."

— Stacy Drohosky, RDR, CRR, CRI, Crown Point, Ind.

"My experience at Boot Camp was truly enriching. I learned a lot about the challenges that artificial intelligence poses to the court reporting profession. I was also reminded just how important our job as court reporters is in our judicial system. I enjoyed going to Capitol Hill and meeting with the legislative staff, and I think my biggest takeaway was that anyone can make a difference for their profession. I am glad I had the opportunity to do so."

— Olivia P. Sherrick, RPR, Forty Fort, Pa.

"It is always an honor to meet with elected officials and to discuss bills that are so important to New Mexicans and the greater American public. NCRA prepared us very well for our meetings and gave us the guidance and structure to talk about this very important bill that will create a task force dedicated to understanding how artificial intelligence and electronic recordings can affect judicial outcomes."

— Amanda Lundberg, RPR, CRC, Rio Rancho, N.M.
