Court Reporter, First Judicial District (Temporary Floating)

The First Judicial District is seeking qualified applicants interested in working as a Stenographic Court Reporter in a temporary position with various judges throughout the First District. Work assignments will be coordinated through the Central Assignment Office. Full or part time work is available. In-person, hybrid, or remote options will be considered for this position. This is a temporary position through approximately June 30, 2025 with the possibility to continue in a long term position. Court Reporters have the opportunity to capture and preserve the court record while serving the public in a professional capacity through the administration of justice.

The First Judicial District operates on a daily calendar system, providing employees the opportunity to be assigned throughout the district and to report many different types of court proceedings. The First District consists of seven southern metro counties including Carver, Dakota, Goodhue, Le Sueur, McLeod, Scott and Sibley.
