Jason T. Meadors from Fort Collins elected 2021-2022 NCRA President-elect

RESTON, Va., July 30, 2021 — TheNational Court Reporters Association (NCRA), the country’s leading organization representing stenographic court reporters, captioners, and legal videographers, today announced that Jason T. Meadors, a court reporter and firm owner from Fort Collins, Colo., was elected to serve as 2021-2022 President-elect during the Association’s Conference & Expo being held July 29-Aug. 1 at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Nev.

Meadors began his career in court reporting in early 1975 while serving in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1974-1978. He has worked in both official and freelance roles. He founded Meadors Court Reporting in 1989. Meadors holds the nationally recognized professional certifications of Registered Professional Reporter (RPR), Certified Realtime Reporter (CRR), and Certified Realtime Captioner (CRC). He is also a Fellow of the Academy of Professional Reporters (FAPR).

During his career, Meadors has reported in nearly two dozen states as well as in Colombia, Ecuador, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Kazakhstan, Mexico, Nicaragua, Nigeria, Norway, South Korea, and Taiwan.

At the national level, Meadors has served on numerous NCRA committees as well as on the Board of Directors and as Secretary-Treasurer. He is a contributor to the JCR magazine and has presented at the national, state, and user group levels.

His volunteer service has included numerous roles with the Colorado Court Reporters Association, including as its president.
