Janine Ferren, RMR, CRR, is a freelance court reporter from Fishers, Ind. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music with a concentration in piano from Molloy College in Rockville Centre, N.Y., and is also a graduate of the Stenotype Institute in Hicksville,
N.Y. She has been a court reporter since 1986 and holds the nationally recognized professional certifications of Registered Merit Reporter (RMR) and Certified Realtime Reporter (CRR). Since 1992 Ferren has worked as a freelance court reporter for
Connor Reporting, a Veritext Company located in Indianapolis, Ind.
At the national level, Ferren has served on NCRA’s Contests and Finance committees and the Proofreading Advisory Council. She has also attended several of the Association’s Leadership & Legislative Boot Camps, has been a continuous
donor to its Political Action Committee fund, and has been an NCRF Angel Donor since 2021.
