The Court Reporter II takes verbatim records of civil, criminal, and Grand Jury court proceedings; transcribes and certifies typewritten transcripts; and performs other duties as required. Starting salary - $6,754 per month. In addition to receiving a base salary from the State of Hawaii, Judiciary Court Reporters are entitled to additional compensation for preparing transcripts in accordance with Hawaii Revised Statutes section 606-13 and the Rules Governing Court Reporting in the State of Hawaii.
