The Hamilton County Court of Common Pleas is currently seeking applicants for the position of Official Court Reporter. This position is full-time (35 hours per week) and current entry level pay is $72,017 plus transcript pay. The Court also offers a salary
incentive of an additional 3% in pay per certification for up to three certifications achieved and maintained including the RPR, RMR, CRR, and RDR. Applicants must have a high school diploma and a certificate from an accredited court reporting school,
or a current certificate of proficiency from the National Court Reporters Association. Those without their RPR will have to pass a proficiency speed test before being considered for the position. This position is responsible for recording verbatim notes
of trial court proceedings, hearings, and conferences by stenotype machine and providing transcripts of these notes as required. All equipment including steno machine, laptop computer, docking station, software, software support, and all printing and
