Dana Hayden holds national professional certifications of Registered Merit Reporter (RMR), Certified Realtime Reporter (CRR), and Certified Realtime Captioner (CRC), as well as Realtime Systems Administrator. She obtained her court reporting degree from Alvin Community College in Alvin, Texas. She has been a federal official court reporter in both Fort Smith and Fayetteville. She owns Arkansas Realtime Reporting and also provides CART captioning services.
Nationally, Hayden has been a mentor to court reporting students and served on the TRAIN Committee and as Chief Examiner to administer national skills tests in Arkansas.
At the state level, Hayden holds membership in the Arkansas Court Reporters Association and Oklahoma Court Reporters Association. She is certified in Arkansas and Oklahoma. Hayden is a past president to TCRA, has served in all roles on the executive committee and has presented at the state and national level regarding many subjects.
Hayden is serving her second three-year term on the Arkansas Board of Certified Court Reporter Examiners and helps conduct a mandatory two-day orientation for newly certified reporters. She is the recipient of numerous awards including being named Court Reporter of the Year by ACRA. She is both a national and state speed and realtime champion.
