Yvette Heinze holds the nationally recognized professional certification of Registered Professional
Reporter (RPR) and has worked as a court reporter since 1996. During her career, she has served as
a freelance court reporter, an official court reporter, a captioner, and a CART (Communications
Access Realtime Translation) captioner. She is currently an official court reporter for the Federal
District Court, Great Falls Division in Montana.
At the national level, Heinze has served on a number of NCRA committees including the
Professional Ethics and Education Content Committees. She currently serves on the DE&I Task
Force and as the Western Regional Representative for the National Congress of State Associations
(NCSA). She has also attended numerus NCRA Leadership & Legislative Boot Camps held in
Washington, D.C.
At the state level, Heinze is a member of the Montana Court Reporters Association (MTCRA) and
has served in a number of leadership roles including as President from 2017-2019. She has also
served on a number of the organization’s committees including its Officials Committee, and as chair of its Convention Committee in 2014. She currently serves on MTCRA’s Student Outreach Committee and as its Facebook and website manager.
Heinze is a current member of the U.S. Court Reporters Association, and a past member of the
Deposition Reporters Association (Calif.), the California Court Reporters Association, and the
North Carolina Court Reporters Association.
