Shellene Iverson, who holds the nationally recognized professional certification of Registered Professional Reporter (RPR), attended Bryan College of Court Reporting in Los Angeles, Calif., and graduated after a couple-year hiatus from the College of Legal Arts in Portland, Ore. She is certified to work in Oregon and Washington states. She is currently the owner of Iverson & Associates based in Portland.
At the national level, Iverson currently serves on NCRA’s Proofreading, COPE (professional ethics), and A to Z ® Intro to Steno Machine Shorthand committees, and the REAL Task Force.
At the state level, Iverson is a two-term past president of the Oregon Court Reporters Association and has served in all roles of the organization’s Executive Committee. She is a past chair of OCRA’s Membership committee and currently serves
as a member of its Bylaws committee.
