Shellene Iverson holds the nationally recognized professional certification of Registered Professional Reporter (RPR). She began her career in Portland, Oregon, in 2002 as a freelance reporter in Oregon and Washington. After a couple of years freelancing, she joined the firm of Capri~Iverson Reporting which then became Iverson & Associates, LLC, when her partner retired in 2009. As of January 2026, she is now an official reporter with the Federal District Court in Eugene, Oregon.
At the national level, Iverson served on NCRA’s Proofreading, COPE (professional ethics), and A to Z ® Intro to Steno Machine Shorthand committees, and the REAL Task Force.
At the state level, Iverson is a two-term past president of the Oregon Court Reporters Association and has served in all roles of the organization’s Executive Committee. She is a past chair of OCRA’s Membership committee and currently serves
as a member of its Bylaws committee.
