Eligibility for use of NCRA-approved school logo
The NCRA-approved school logo is for use by schools or court reporting programs that have been approved to be following the General Requirements and Minimum Standards by NCRA’s Committee on Approved Student Education.
Rules and restrictions
A school or program in good standing may use or reproduce the NCRA-approved school logo on their advertising, business cards, letterhead, brochures, and other promotional materials in any medium solely to denote the school or program’s approval by NCRA.
A school or program may not use the NCRA-approved school logo as an expression of the Association’s views or its endorsement or approval of a particular topic or matter. Similarly, a school or program may not use the NCRA-approved school logo on a diploma, a certificate, or on a student or teacher’s work product, such as on a transcript, regardless of the work product’s format or media.
The NCRA-approved school logo must be used or reproduced in its entirety and may not be changed in any way. No fragments or portions of the NCRA-approved school logo may be used or reproduced.
The NCRA-approved school logo must be reproduced in black and white, a single color only, or in the two colors specified by NCRA (text in PMS 288 and the graphic in PMS 7409). It must be in a reasonable size to ensure readability and legibility. Online, the NCRA-approved school logo must be hyperlinked to NCRA.org. The logo user is responsible for maintaining an active link at all times or removing the logo from the Web page.
Any other use of the NCRA-approved school logo is prohibited, except to the extent expressly permitted by the NCRA Board of Directors. Unauthorized use of the NCRA-approved school logo may subject the user to legal action by the Association to the fullest extent permitted by law. The school or program may lose NCRA approval, including removal from NCRA’s Schools & Programs Web page, for unauthorized use.
