2023 NCRA Elections

NCRA members submitted additional nominations for positions on the NCRA Board of Directors by the deadline of May 7. The bios and candidate questionnaires for the offices of Vice President and Director are published for your review below.  These additional nominations will appear in the June issue of the JCR, as well as through emails, the JCR Weekly, and social media.

Uncontested elections

Only one nomination was made for the following offices:

President-Elect

Keith Lemons, FAPR, RPR, CRR (Ret), Spring Hill, Tenn.

Secretary-Treasurer

Cathy Penniston, RPR, CRI, Waukee, Iowa

No petitions were received by May 7, 2023.  Those in an uncontested election will be elected by acclamation during the NCRA Annual Business Meeting.

Elections Committee

It is the responsibility of the Elections Committee to verify that the candidates meet the requirements set forth in the NCRA Constitution & Bylaws; to supervise and conduct the election; and to report the election results as soon as they become available.

Election Procedures

Voting

Voting by electronic mail and other authorized means of electronic transmission for contested elections will have a period of 24 hours to vote once the online voting period begins. NCRA’s membership will vote on the nominations at least 30 days before the Annual Business Meeting, which is scheduled for Thursday, July 27, 2023, in Houston, Texas. Please refer to Article VIII, Section 4, and Article IX, Section 3, of the Constitution and Bylaws for more information on voting.
