Official Certified Court Reporter

The 14th Judicial District Court in Lake Charles, Louisiana is now accepting applications for a Certified Court Reporter to fulfill a roving reporter position. The position is for a full-time employee with full salary plus benefits package. Courts covered will be a mixture of Civil, Criminal, and from time to time some Domestic and Family court proceedings. The reporter will be required to take down and transcribe, as requested, verbatim records of judicial trials, conferences, hearings, or any other court proceedings as designated by the judge and may be held in open court, in chambers, and/or via Zoom. Voice writer or machine writer certification for the state of Louisiana only to be considered, real-time certifications are not required. Please send resume to 14th JDC, P.O.
