The Tenth Judicial District is accepting applications for a full-time Stenographic Court Reporter for the Honorable Karen Schommer who is chambered in the Sherburne County Government Center located in Elk River, MN. This is highly responsible technical work. Court Reporters are responsible to capture the official court record in a variety of proceedings, using in-person or remote methods. This position is responsible for the verbatim recording and transcription of testimony of judicial proceedings, hearings, and conferences in compliance with all applicable statutes and court rules or as directed by the appointing authority. The court reporter exercises considerable independent judgement in all aspects of job performance. Work is reviewed and evaluated by the appointing authority.
