Applications are now being accepted for a full time Official Court Reporter for the 2nd Judicial Circuit, Tallahassee, Florida.
Salary: Court Reporter I, $47,569.08 annually; Court Reporter II, $52,444.80 annually. Must possess RPR certification to qualify for Court Reporter II.
Duties: Takes verbatim records of court proceedings utilizing Eclipse computer-aided transcription (CAT) and/or simultaneous video display transcription (realtime); transcribes/certifies transcripts; and performs other duties as required.
Qualifications: Two-year vocational school education in court reporting; or two-year education at a certified Court Reporting Institute; plus five years’ experience working as a court reporter. RPR certification preferred.
