$22.55-24.86 per hour, DOQ
The Mohave County Superior Court seeks to establish a hiring register of qualified applicants for the position of Official Court Reporter. Position is responsible for utilizing specialized equipment while performing professional verbatim reporting and transcribing services for court proceedings, hearings, and conferences; reading back testimony from stenographic notes and transcripts. The position of Official Court Reporter is an unclassified position serving at the will of the Presiding Judge. Official Court Reporters are subject to fill in for other court divisions in various locations as may be required.
Requires State of Arizona court reporter certification in accordance with Arizona Revised Statute (A.R.S.) Title 32, Chapter 40 and Arizona Code of Judicial Administration sections 7-206 and 7-207. Reporting experience in trial courts is required and real-time ability preferred. Court reporter certification must be maintained at all times to retain employment.
