Testing Information - Certified Realtime Reporter (CRR)
What is the CRR?
The Certified Realtime Reporter (CRR) is NCRA’s realtime proficiency certification designed for those who want to demonstrate realtime competency, those looking for an additional salary increase, reporters who wish to market themselves better as realtime reporters.
CRR Certification Process
To earn your CRR, you must:
- Hold the RPR and be a current member.
- Must pass a realtime testimony skills test (200 wpm) with 96 percent accuracy.
Online Skills Test Registration - Quarter 1
All candidates are required to read Online Skills Test information prior to registering and taking their test.
Register selecting "attempt 1" if you have not yet taken an test this quarter; "attempt 2" if you have already taken "attempt 1" for this quarter; and "attempt 3" if you have already taken "attempt 1" and "attempt 2" for this quarter.
Once you register for an exam you will receive a confirmation email from Realtime Coach within three business days. Your confirmation email will contain scheduling information for your exam. All exams must be scheduled and taken within 30 days of your confirmation email. Please remember to wait until you receive this confirmation to schedule your exam. You must schedule all exams 72 hours in advance. If you do not receive an email confirmation within three days of your registration please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
