Making the most of your tech Freelance Chat tonight at 9 PM ET
One of the most important aspects of professional development is keeping up-to-date on the latest technologies and how they can help you improve your efficiency and work product. The court reporting industry is constantly evolving, with new writers, software, tablets, apps, cloud solutions, portable scanners and much more. On the heels of TechCon 2012, the Freelance Community of Interest and the Technology Evaluation Committee will bring reporters of all stripes together to discuss how they are maximizing the benefits of new and emerging technologies. This web chat is scheduled for March 8 at 9pm Eastern.
To access a web chat, go to http://www.ncra.org/chat or chose "Online Chat" from the "Membership Tools" menu on the NCRA homepage. Follow the instructions to log in, and double-click on "Freelance Chat." We recommend that you install the latest version of Oracle’s Java platform (www.java.com) prior to chatting. We also recommend that you test these instructions in advance on the computer you will be using to work out any potential problems.
