2012 NCRF Veterans History Project Day
On January 14, the National Court Reporters Foundation (NCRF) joined forces once again with the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) and the Library of Congress to contribute to the Veterans History Project. Volunteers gathered at NCRA headquarters in Vienna, Va. and spent the afternoon sharing their various experiences, adventures, and backgrounds.
Member volunteers used their skills to transcribe interviews from local veterans who offered to come to headquarters and talk about their service. NCRF and DAV have been supporting the Veterans History Project together since 2003, and have captured many invaluable stories over the years.
This year, for the first time, our volunteers were asked to talk about their experiences at the event. To see what participants had to say about being a part of the NCRF/DAV Veterans History Project, watch the video.
