“People to People” Donates Free Trip to NCRF
People to People Citizen Ambassador Programs is coordinating a delegation of professionals specializing in court reporting who will travel to Brazil from October 20-26, 2012. In return for our promotion and participation, they are donating a full registration to NCRF as a fundraiser at NCRA’s Firm Owners Executive Conference in Palm Beach in February 2012.
The People to People Citizen Ambassador Program is the world’s most recognized and respected educational travel provider for students, educators, and professionals. With nearly 50 years of experience and destinations on seven continents, over 500,000 people have participated in their trips. For many years, they have organized trips for the legal community, including court reporters.
Merilyn Sanchez, RMR, CRR, former president of the National Court Reporters Association (NCRA) and current Chair-Elect of the National Court Reporters Foundation, will be coordinating participation by court reporters. This delegation will seek to increase collaboration with Brazilian professionals and organizations on topics of mutual interest in the court reporters arena. This will be combined with cultural activities highlighting the sights and sounds of the country. Delegates will enjoy insider views of the court reporting profession in Brazil and experience the culture in ways that most travelers never do, from exploring the neighborhood of Vila Madalena and marveling at the views atop Sugar Loaf Mountain to observing professional counterparts in their element.
