Interview with a Voice Captioner

On March 26, the NCRA Tech Committee interviewed George Schaumburg. George is currently a captioner and CART provider. So what is so different about George? George is a voice writer. Originally trained in Texas as a steno reporter, George moved over to using voice instead of steno. Having first gone through a steno machine reporting school, he transferred and applied the knowledge he learned from the steno-based school to using voice technology.
