DRA and CCRA HansonBridgett Memo

In February, 2011, the Deposition Reporters Association (DRA) and the California Court Reporters Association (CCRA) commissioned a document from the tax firm HansonBridgett to comment on the tax implications of gift giving practices.  They found that firms that do give extravagant gifts need to file 1099 forms to recipients.  There are many other legal and tax implications that need to be considered by firms that do gift-giving.
