The 2012-13 Angels Committee.
Welcome to NCRF's 2013 Angels Drive.
This year's Angels fundraising drive runs from October 1, 2012 to September 30, 2013.
NCRF supports various programs designed for the enrichment of the court reporting community through fundraising activities.
Our goal is to create programs that become well-known and respected in the constituencies they serve.
The Angels Drive has become the gold standard for the Foundation's fundraising programs and illustrates the willingness of members to contribute year after year to a cause they feel passionate about.
NCRF Angels are individuals or firms who commit to donate at least $1,000 to NCRF in a 12-month timeframe. Over 120 individuals and firms have become Angel donors since the inception of this program and of those, 30 donors have contributed every year! And, several donors will pledge in 2013 for the fifth year. These individuals demonstrate a true committment to the Foundation and the court reporting profession and we thank them for their ongoing support.
NCRF's focus for the 2013 drive will continue to be on projects important to the court reporting community. Students are the future of the profession and the Foundation will continue to fund the Student Initiatives Program which pays for scholarships and also NCRA student memberships for those students who complete two transcriptions for the Oral Histories Program. We continue to build the Legal Education Program through key partnerships with various law schools, and a CART Services Program which supports consumer organizations such as the Association of Late-Deafened Adults with grants for CART providers. It's very exciting, and every dollar we raise is critical to our success.
As a charitable organization, the Foundation relies on tax-deductible donations. They are our lifeblood, and we cannot exist without them. The majority of NCRF's support comes from NCRA members and associated businesses. That's why NCRF offers various giving options, from dues check-off to our phone-a-thon(s) to our annual Angels Drive. You can also support NCRF through your estate planning by becoming a member of NCRF's Legacy Society. To donate, or for information on NCRF’s programs, please contact Deputy Executive Director Ms. B. J. Shorak at firstname.lastname@example.org, or at 800/272-6272, ext. 126.
