Fourth Judical District seeks Stenographic Court ReporterMinnesota
The Fourth Judicial District is seeking a resourceful, highly-motivated Stenographic Court Reporter, preferably with real-time abilities, to be a team member in our Court Reporter Unit. This is a highly-responsible position which requires the use of independent judgment in a courtroom setting under minimal supervision.
The Court Reporter - CMR will primarily be assigned to trial work on an in-person basis. This position will also be assigned to the Central Monitoring Room utilizing digital recording technology. The Court Reporter - CMR prepares and distributes transcripts in accordance with rules of court, opinions, state statutes, legal guidelines and policies.
The Court Reporter - CMR is distinguished from the Official Court Reporter Stenographic or Electronic by reporting to District Court Administration and working as part of a team of court reporters in the Court Reporter Unit. Work assignment and work direction is received from a Court Reporter Unit Supervisor and Court Reporter-CMR Lead Worker.
