Written Knowledge Test Information

NCRA Written Knowledge Tests are multiple choice tests that serve as a component of the following NCRA certifications: RPR, RDR, CRC, and CLVS. Check out the WKT FAQs for tips on how to study for your upcoming Written Knowledge Test!

NOTE: *Written Knowledge Tests have 120 questions but only 100 are used to calculate a candidate's official score. The other 20 questions are new questions that are being tested to capture metrics on their validity. This does not apply to the CRC Written Knowledge Test, which is 50 questions that are all graded.

Registration information

All candidates must present a valid photo ID for verification of identity when signing in to take a test.

Before you register, ensure that the first and last name on your valid photo ID match EXACTLY the first and last name in your NCRA record. Pearson VUE does not check middle names. For example, if you have recently married and NCRA has your married name, but your valid photo ID contains your maiden name, you will not be permitted to take your test. Or, if NCRA has your first name as Missy and your valid photo ID has Melissa, you will not be permitted to take your test.
